The KY Injury Prevention and Research Center is hiring an Occupational Epidemiologist to analyze population based and case based injury data and develop reports and other surveillance outputs. Duties will include, but not be limited to, analyzing data that can identify and characterize occupational injuries and illnesses as well as risk factors; preparing reports and presentations for dissemination to agency partners, industry stakeholders; and ongoing management of injury data. Conduct ongoing quality assurance activities on occupational data; and other duties as assigned.
Advanced knowledge of SAS programming; strong data management skills; initiative and attention to detail; ability to work in teams; handle multiple tasks and flexibility to respond to changing priorities.
