Educational Leader for a K-12 Laboratory School with about 600 students, which operates on a year-round schedule. Responsibilities include: serving as a University School tenure-track faculty member and department-level administrator – Director of University School; budgeting and personnel; maintaining a climate to foster the continued excellence of a year-round K-12 laboratory school with a mathematics and science focus; effectively working with and involving parents and the community in the education process; actively developing partnerships among the University School, Clemmer College, and other University programs, area schools, and the community; supporting and promoting recognition of University School as a model of K-12 excellence; supporting the highly qualified staff in the areas of teaching, research, and service; and, maintaining and supporting a learning environment conducive to innovative teaching practices.
