Develop and implement the environmental health and safety education, outreach, and continuous improvement program.
Administer and coordinate continuous improvement initiatives, training and awareness events that support a proactive safety culture.
Oversees development, administrative, logistics and quality control for the Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Learning Management System (LMS) and other systems that support training and certification programs.
Conduct education, outreach, and continuous improvement root cause analysis to drive decision-making and resolve issues.
Participate in quality review of all environmental, health and safety processes, policies, programs and procedures.
Manage projects that include the creation of educational programs, digital content multimedia resources, course components, and learning objectives.
Serves as a liaison for environmental, health and safety education, outreach, and continuous improvement program projects, purchasing, and service requests.
Manage a robust contact database and email distribution system.
Deliver organized, structured, and persuasive presentations, using effective written and verbal communication.
Analyze performance metrics and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
Minimum Experience / Education:
Graduation from a four year college or university and at least three years of program associate experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Preferred Education Skills and Experience:
Master’s degree in instructional technology, digital media, education, safety, or related field.
Three to five years of experience related to instructional technology, training and learning management systems.
Prior work experience in higher education, public education, or no other public sector institution.
Experience planning and executing short, medium, and long-term projects.
Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with demonstrated ability to effectively communicate to and with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Advanced knowledge and application of technology solutions such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, and Learning Management Systems.
Experience in the presentation of instructional material and lessons.
