The Department of Radiology at New Jersey Medical School at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is recruiting a full-time nuclear medicine physician or fellowship trained nuclear radiologist. This position is at the Assistant Professor level, and new graduates are encouraged to apply. As an integral part of a dynamic, full-service, clinical and academic radiology department, nuclear medicine scope of practice includes general planar imaging, SPECT, PET/CT, nuclear cardiology and radiopharmaceutical therapies. The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic about clinical excellence, scholarly activities, research and teaching. Commitment in the education of residents, fellows and students is required. The successful candidate will work in and foster a diverse faculty, staff and student environment.
Minimum Education and Experience:
The applicant must possess an M.D. or D.O. degree, and a valid New Jersey medical license. The successful candidate will work in and foster a diverse faculty, staff and student environment.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
The successful applicant should be Board Certified in Nuclear Medicine or dual Board Certified in Nuclear Medicine/Diagnostic Radiology, and have a full spectrum of Nuclear Medicine skills.
An active New Jersey medical license is required.
