Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Program Coordinator for Community Outreach- Outpatient Department at Rutgers, University Behavioral Health Care.
The primary purpose of the Program Coordinator position is to provide day-to-day clinical and administrative supervision to program staff.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
Monitors staff to assure that high quality case management services are provided to individuals with severe mental illness.
Monitors unit productivity and monitors fiscal reports.
Monitors that all documentation is done within prescribed time frames.
Participates in weekly team meetings to review cases, communicate supervisory updates, and program developments.
Develops training for staff based upon program and individual staff needs, and delivers training.
Closely monitors program compliance with all licensing and regulatory requirements.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Master's Degree in appropriate mental health discipline plus four (4) years post graduate experience in a relevant mental health field.
All clinical licensing as required by discipline and the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs (e.g. Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or a licensed Psychologist).
Applicants possessing a degree in Social Work must have an active New Jersey certification/licensure as required by the State Board of Social Work.
Must possess own vehicle with clean driving record or alternate means of transportation for use to outreach individuals served.
Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC).
Experience with community based service provision to adults with addictions.
Bilingual skills (English/Spanish).
On call responsibilities as assigned in a 24/7 environment.
