The Department of Physics, School of Arts and Sciences-Newark, Rutgers University-Newark (RU-N), is seeking a Coadjutant to support the research operations of the experimental optics laboratory. The successful candidate will perform a range of technical and research duties, which include, but are not limited to, conducting analysis of high-speed optical movies data on ultrafast fluid dynamics induced by X-ray lasers, arranging and operating time-resolved microscopy setups using pulsed illumination (laser or LED), and conducting literature searches.
Experimental optics experience highly desired. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills a must.
