Rutgers University-Newark, an urban public research university and anchor institution, located in Newark, New Jersey, a city of promise, is seeking a Manager for Campus Activities for the Robeson Campus Center. Reporting to the Director of Student Life and Leadership.
The Manager for Campus Activities duties include but are not limited to: -Coordinating, organizing and assessing leadership development programs initiated by the Office of Student Life. -Supervising work-study program and the daily operation of the Student Life office. -Manages the office's outreach, marketing, and communication. -Advises designated groups of student organizations selected at the discretion of the Director and participates in leadership development programs, trainings and retreats for student leaders.

Minimum Education and Experience:
Requires a bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience that demonstrates knowledge and understanding of student development and leadership, student organization advising, event planning and coordination, workshop facilitation, office administration and report writing. Requires excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to work well with a diverse student population. Also requires a minimum of two years relevant experience in an administrative function and computer literacy.
-A minimum of two years professional experience in higher education. -Masters in Higher Education Administration, Student Affairs, College Personnel or other closely related field. -Working knowledge of fraternities and sororities. -Understanding of student leadership development.
