In your pivotal role as a Research ProjectsCoordinator, you will be responsible for providing support for complexqualitative and quantitative research projects in health, public health, healthpolicy, health services research or related disciplines under some guidance. Youractivities include study coordination, literature searches, data collection,data analysis, and report preparation. You will help provide general support todepartmental programs, projects and coordinates dissemination of information.This position integrates policy with research by assisting with monitoring andreviewing both the research and policy landscapes and providing support oncourse corrections for either or both, if/when necessary.
Serves as a bridge betweenclinical and research teams to facilitate use of VICTR tools and resources andfor determining future needs.
Supports investigators andsenior research staff on multiple studies.
Prepares and executesportions of research projects.
Works closely with the department directorproject managers and/or principal investigators to coordinate research projectactivities, timelines, and events.
Maintains documentation asneeded for projects and programs.
Uses internal and externalresources to supplement, organize, and contribute to tasks.
Fosters collaboration betweenteam members, both internal and external to the department.
May coordinate focus groups orother qualitative data collection.
Implementsdata collection and inquiry
Reviews study files and assists in producingqueries for network sites.
Collects, organizes, and critically analyzesdata based on study goals.
Compiles data and preparesflow charts and Excel worksheets to update and represent research progress.
Archives study specific regulatorydocumentation and correspondence.
Responsible for managing smallto medium datasets.
Assists in coordinatingdevelopment of datasets, data cleaning, data validation, and data reporting.
Applies basic social sciencequalitative and quantitative research methods.
Maintains detaileddocumentation of data management.
Uses familiarity with federaland/or state healthcare measures and policy to conduct study-specificliterature reviews and searches.
Preparesmaterials and drafts sections of presentations and written documents
Assists in writing progressreports.
Prepares materials forpresentations.
Organizes and formats data forpresentations, publications, and internal use.
Creates charts, graphs, andtables to summarize analysis results.
Drafts sections of researchproposals.
Drafts Standard OperatingProcedures (SOPs)
May contribute topeer-reviewed scientific manuscripts.
