Reporting to the Director of Global Program Development, the Outreach Coordinator supports efforts to recruit students for assigned programs, courses, workshops and products offered through HMS Postgraduate Medical Education (PGME). This role has a particular emphasis on recruiting master's degree students.
Duties include supporting institutional collaborations, management of outreach strategy, tracking potential candidates through the intake cycle, coordinating with PGME marketing team, and close collaboration with PGME admissions team as candidates move from prospect to applicant. This position is responsible for the compilation and sharing of relevant data with the marketing team to assist with inbound marketing efforts. The Outreach Coordinator plans and moderates assigned info session webinars and assists with planning other outreach activities/travel.
Utilizing Salesforce, the Outreach Coordinator manages the organization of student-facing outreach communications and is responsible for meeting outreach and engagement targets. The Coordinator will advise prospective students about admissions statuses, policies, and related programming while coordinating on internal information sharing. The Outreach Coordinator communicates regularly with the Marketing & Admissions teams to ensure a steady pipeline of program participants moves forward to program applicant status. This position also works with PGME staff to provide reports on the number, status, and demographics of program applications and admissions status. Post-program, the Admissions Coordinator participates in alumni communication and engagement, supporting related events as required.
The Outreach Coordinator plays a key supporting role as senior team members execute on strategy. Background research, benchmarking, travel support, and assistance with logistical planning are all key components of this role.
Other outreach, admissions, and student service tasks may be requested from time to time as needed for the successful marketing rollout and enrollment of program participants.

Minimum 3 years of related experience in program development, marketing, admissions, customer and/or student service, preferably in a higher education setting. Education beyond high school may count towards experience.
Bachelor's degree preferred. Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills required. Ability to prioritize work in an environment with multiple and conflicting interests. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to handle complex and confidential information with discretion. Competency using a variety of computer software.
