The Department of Psychiatry has an opening for a full-time Clinical Research Assistant I in its Neuropsychology Program in the Outpatient Psychiatry Service.
The Clinical Research Assistant I will be responsible for:
Involvement in long-term outcome studies of children treated for brain tumors.
Data management, including creating data bases, data entry, verification, & analysis.
Preparing statistical reports and preliminary analyses.
Literature searches and assistance with manuscript preparations
Scoring psychological tests and entering calculation of total raw scores when provided with item level scoring, converting raw scores into standardized scores using test manuals or scoring programs and entering standardized scores into computer databases or templates.
To qualify, you must have:
Work requires the knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree.
High attention to detail, with a focus on absolute accuracy in scoring and data entry as well as in transcribing data.
Well-developed organizational skills and ability to multi-task as well as analytical skills to organize and interpret data of moderate complexity.
