The Clinical Regulatory Compliance Consultant, Senior Project Manager will be responsible for:
Serving as a communication link between PPSQ and external resources hospital-wide and in the greater Patient Safety/Compliance communities including leadership, project task forces, work groups and consultants. Developing, maintaining and communicating project plans. Developing and implementing a communication system to keep all stakeholders aware of the current status of projects and upcoming deadlines.
Coordinating all tasks between PPSQ, collaborating departments and consultants with a focus on meeting specific projects goals such as national patient safety standards or regulatory compliance standards. Ensuring that tasks are aligned with each other and are performed in the correct order.
Maintaining minutes and meeting reports of all project activities. Synthesizing the information between meetings and assisting Task Forces in meeting goals and objectives. Assuring that delegated and assigned tasks are completed in a timely fashion.
Maintaining currency in the fields of Project Management and applicable fields of Compliance, Regulatory or Patient Safety and sharing knowledge and experience with the project management team.
To qualify, you must have:
The knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts acquired through completion of Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Management, Science, Business Administration or related field. Minimum of five to seven years relevant experience.
Preferred: Master's degree related field, two years' experience managing multiple highly complex projects and Project Management Professional Certification or other relevant certification.
The ability to effectively manage multiple demands and projects and/or proposals simultaneously within assigned department/division and to persuade and negotiate with peer-level department heads and/or with external agencies/facilities on issues and programs that impact assigned department as well as several other large departments/divisions.
Advanced knowledge of PC-based software applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and manual and web-based applications for collecting/ reporting data
Demonstrated ability to lead quality improvement and/or process improvement activities. For research efforts, ability to lead and conduct basic secondary research (e.g., literature reviews) and advanced quantitative and qualitative analysis.
