The University of Pittsburgh Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI) is seeking a telephone screener for the Pitt+Me(r) research registry and the All of Us PA Research Program. The Pitt+Me(r) Screener manages participant interactions and facilitates enrollment for studies by utilizing the Pitt+Me Registry as a recruitment tool.
The Screening Office also answers all calls from interested participants from the All of Us PA Research Program. This includes answering participant questions about the study, screening, and scheduling appointments for the study.
Specific responsibilities for both projects will include:
- answering and placing calls to participants who have expressed an interest in research studies (no cold calling involved)
- screening participants for appropriate studies - referring participants to study personnel
- scheduling participant visits - following up with study personnel on the disposition of participants referred
- recruiting the general public into Pitt+Me(r) and All of Us PA
The incumbent will verify active study status for the registry, manage study content in the application, perform data entry, and assist with registry mailings maintenance. This position requires comfort with technology in order to navigate multiple systems and document information while on the phone with participants.
Experience in a clinical research setting that included contact with human research participants preferred. Successful candidates must possess excellent phone skills, customer service skills and be comfortable switching between and entering data into multiple systems while on the phone with participants.
