The individual in this position will serve as an Office Assistant in the front office providing contact with the public, prospective students, parents, current students, faculty, staff, etc., and efficiently provide guidance and requests for information. Interprets policies and provides information on the School of Nursing, curriculum, recruitment, etc. as appropriate to the various inquiries.
This position is critical in the recruitment efforts of the School of Nursing and must provide a professional image; manage and triage visitors, and manage a heavy volume of inquiries in person, by email and phone; maintain advisor appointment schedules as needed; assure efficient functioning of the front office (fax, deliveries, maintaining a proper supply of office forms, coverage of front desk, etc.); manages student locker assignment process.
The individual will need to maintain accurate records of all gifts sent directly to the School; process checks efficiently; create and send personal acknowledgment letters in a timely manner. Assist with events and overall department operations.
Associate's degree required, significant relevant experience may be substituted for degree requirement. Bachelor's degree is preferred. 2-3 years working in high-powered administrative office. Experience working in a university setting involving student issues and administrative support to faculty is required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office software is necessary. Knowledge of administrative office responsibilities in order to prepare and interpret written material is essential.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m
Hiring Range: $18,564.00 - $28,860.00
