The Senior Program Manager, Renewal will be responsible for the planning, coordination and overall management of all phases of project design and construction management of a variety of multi-disciplinary projects.Also the Senior Program Manager will be responsible for the Universityâ™s renewal program and the supervision of staff associated with the program. Manages and controls all phases of project design and construction management. Establishes project scope, budget and schedules. Conducts meetings, construction monitoring and project closeout. Completes applications, attends meetings, which in some cases occur outside of normal working hours, prepares presentations and submits answers to questions to the appropriate authority. Prepares RFQ/P and scope of work to select A/E firms. Performs all related construction management functions including shop drawing review, control of change orders, extra work and final acceptance. Inspects and documents all work in progress, prepares and conducts final acceptance inspections and documents all project revisions. Create, implement, and oversee the renewal program. Manage a staff of Project Managers, overseeing their work and ensuring resources are in place and that tools and reporting mechanisms are properly used.Provide direction on a variety of topics. Participate in recruitment and selection, hiring and termination, training, professional development, coaching and mentoring, counseling, performance evaluations, and salary planning.Assign and evaluate work.
