Serve as business and operational administrator in the Office of General Counsel ensuring the management and timely onboarding and payment of service providers for the division and other administrative units. Prepare complex reports, oversee budget revisions and journal transactions. Initiate review of contracts and billing for compliance of retention agreements, general counsel guidelines or procurement, as appropriate. Oversee the records retention program with developing and deploying process improvements. Research and evaluate service providers, submit recommendations and oversee contract renewals, technical upgrades and software implementations. Assist with personnel onboarding, offboarding and training staff, students and casual employees. This role has direct contact with multiple levels within the organization, provides communications support, and will analyze a variety of institutional data and prepare summaries. Manage and provide a high level of communication support, both written and verbal.
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree
Required Experience: 3+ years relevant experience in a legal or higher education environment.
Preferred Experience: Experience working in a law firm or law department.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Excellent interpersonal, organizational and problem solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively across organizational lines utilizing strong written and oral communication skills. Experience multitasking and the ability to prioritize assigned duties independently. Working knowledge of MS Office. Advanced knowledge of MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio) and Adobe DC.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Working knowledge of OBIEE applications and Worldox.
