This position provides the necessary support for the Interdisciplinary Studies (IDS)-Social Sciences program, which serves students on each CWU campus and online. This position assists students with general information about the program, facilitates distribution of public relations materials, prepares program reports, and manages records, including course schedules, student academic plans, and program budgets. This position supports the IDS Academic Coordinator, faculty, and staff.
Increasingly responsible clerical/secretarial experience in a professional office environment.
Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail to produce accurate work assignments within given deadlines.
Experience effectively organizing multiple work assignments, involving competing priorities.
Demonstrated experience in effectively using word processing, graphics, spreadsheet and database software, particularly, Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
OR applicable combination of education and/or experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of the position.
Ability to complete work precisely and thoroughly.
