Provides administrative support to one of the Associate Dean’s and associated units within the college. Duties include, but are not limited to: calendar management, processing travel paperwork and reimbursement requests and hiring paperwork for temporary staff and student employment.
Coordinates, supports and executes college events.
Serve as a resource for donors, sponsors, event speakers/attendees, students/faculty/staff questions and concerns.
Works with the Advancement Office to track donations and sponsorships for the college and to reconcile college expenditure of these funds.
Organizes, manages and produces reporting, communications and marking materials for college events.
Other administrative duties as assigned.
Minimum Experience / Education:
Graduation from high school, or completion of its equivalency, and three years of office/clerical work experience; or an equivalent combination of training/experience.
Preferred Education Skills and Experience:
Three years of administrative/office experience, preferably in a higher education setting.
Strong calendar management skills.
Strong customer service experience required.
Event management skills a plus.
Attention to detail with accuracy and the ability to adapt to change are essential.
E-procurement and travel process experience a plus.
Experience with Microsoft Office, including MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel for reporting, finance and document preparation activities.
