Work involves a variety of accounting, budget and administrative functions to assist in the administration of the Department of Audiovisual Integration and Support for Learning Environments (AISLE). Responsible for financial resource management, analysis and reporting of approximately $1.2M budget in combined general, non-general, E & T, multi-media and discretionary funds. Peforms technical accounting duties, such as reporting, account reconciliation, journal entries, budget transfers, procurement, and other financial accounts of moderate variety and complexity. Assists and prepares for annual budget call process. Responsible for interpreting and carrying out policies and procedures for various functions of the AISLE group's four teams: Classroom Support, Academic Media Production, Emerging Media Communications, and Audiovisual Integration.
Minimum Experience / Education:
Four year degree in a related business function and one year of experience in accounts reconciliation, business processing, office management, or human resources; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Preferred Education Skills and Experience:
Experience using Banner Finance. Significant experience in accounting including accounts payable, accounts receivable, purchasing, service estimation and scheduling. Proven experience with Microsoft Office and Google Suite. A highly motivated self starter with excellent attention to detail, highly organized with exemplary customer service skills responsible for working with a variety of vendors and staff. Strong written and oral communications skills.
