Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey with the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Barnabas Health System offers an exciting opportunity for an academically oriented medical oncologists, specifically with interests in gastrointestinal, genitourinary, breast, and blood disorders that could complement and expand growing programs in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment. We also seek applicants who could expand our Phase 1 therapeutics program. Enthusiastic physicians with the skills and energy to play an important role within our NCI Comprehensive Cancer Center and who have interest in very active clinical and translational research programs and/or a busy clinical practice are encouraged to apply. Exciting opportunities exist for collaborations with strong research programs, including clinical trials research, cancer chemoprevention, clinical and basic pharmacology, Phase 1 clinical trials, as well as abundant opportunities for clinical and scientific interactions with internationally known investigators in the basic science and clinical departments. This is a full-time faculty position at the Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey with appointment to the Department of Medicine at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. The Cancer Institute is part of Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences and the Rutgers Health System at Rutgers University.
We seek a candidate who will be able to establish an active clinical practice in addition to contributing to ongoing clinical and translational research and clinical trial accrual. He/She will also have an opportunity to potentially develop independent research initiatives with a broad range of potential clinical and basic science collaborators, and participate in a broad range of teaching initiatives with medical students, housestaff, and fellows. Fellowship training and MD required. Rank will be commensurate with experience and level of training.

Minimum Education and Experience:
Applicants must have an M.D. degree, board certification in internal medicine, and be board certified/eligible in medical oncology. Faculty rank and salary will be commensurate with experience.
