The purpose of this position is to provide clinical leadership and oversight as part of all clinical research activities within the Accelerating Research-to-Practice in Community Health (ARCH) Lab, led by Principal Investigator, Dr. Rinad Beidas, within the Penn Center for Mental Health. Primary responsibilities include: 1) To serve as the clinical lead for a NIMH funded R01 that tests different ways to measure clinician use of cognitive-behavioral therapy in community mental health clinics. Specifically, to conduct observational assessments with and provide consultation to therapists and leadership in the City of Philadelphia related to the delivery of in cognitive behavioral interventions in community mental health settings. The person in this position will also oversee training of and clinical supervision to research staff, graduate students, and postdoctoral fellows who assist with the observational assessments and consultation. 2) To lead the evaluation team for a SAMHSA-funded project examining trauma-services for youth in Philadelphia, conducted in partnership with the Philadelphia Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual disAbility Services (DBHIDS). The primary responsibilities of this position include training and supervising research staff and practicum students in evaluation procedures and liaising with community mental health therapists, supervisors, and city partners to ensure that recruitment and project goals are met. On-call supervision is provided as needed.
