The research assistant will work with the team on an ongoing research project that aims to help improve head and neck cancer survivors on their self-care knowledge and skills.
The research assistant reports to the PI to ensure timely and accurate data collection and management. The research assistant will be responsible for conducting recruitment and screening activities; collecting data; entering detailed patient and pedigree data into a database program, filing, preparing data packets for research subjects, handling requests for outside medical records, assisting in subject follow-up via phone and mail, scheduling research subject visits, and administrative support such as administering surveys, scheduling meetings, and creating mailing lists.
