Under the general direction of the law school Assistant Dean of Student Affairs/Director of Academic Support and Bar Programs, the Assistant Director of Academic Support and Bar Programs is responsible for assisting the Assistant Dean in overall management of the Academic Support Program with an emphasis on the bar support programming.
Collaborate with the Assistant Dean of Student Affairs/Director of Academic Support and Bar Programs and other department members to administer the integrated academic support and bar preparation program for current students and graduates. Duties include collaborating to design, coordinate and deliver bar support programming; providing one-on-one and small group tutoring; developing and teaching workshops; providing support and guidance to the student peer mentors; and completing other tasks as assigned.
Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.
Passage of a bar exam and admission to a state bar in the United States.
Active or inactive bar membership in good standing in a state bar.
