Under the supervision of the on duty charge nurse, the hospital telemetry technician carries out dysrhythmia monitoring responsibilities. As needed, the hospital telemetry assistant will perform the HUSC duties within the unit.
Graduation from high school; or an equivalent level of education and experience.
BART or BLS at time of hire with commitment to get BART within six (6) months of hire date.
Successful completion of a telemetry technician course/and or ECG training course.
One (1) year of Telemetry Tech experience.
Telemetry Tech Certification.
One (1) year of Telemetry Tech experience in an ICU environment.
Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.
