As a member of Infrastructure Services, you will work with our core group of developers and engineers to develop systems and applications that integrate infrastructure across various colleges and departments at Rowan University. What we’re looking for:
Have a 4-year degree in a technical field.
Have 3 or more years of related professional experience.
Have strong programming skills in one or more of the following: Python, Perl, Bash, PowerShell.
Have extensive experience designing, integrating and automating complex processes.
Have considerable experience working with or creating RESTful Web Services.
Have considerable experience working in Unix/Linux shell environments.
Have excellent troubleshooting skills.
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Enjoy working in a collaborative agile environment.
Have a master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
Have three years experience working with one or more of the following platforms/technologies:
Load Balancers: NetScaler, F5
LDAP: Active Directory, FreeIPA
Hypervisors: ESXi, XenServer
DNS: Infoblox, AD DNS
Monitoring & Logging: Solarwinds, Splunk, Graylog
Single Sign-On: SAML, CAS, Shibboleth, ADFS
Databases: Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL
Have experience with containerization technologies: Docker, Kubernetes.
Have experience with one or more ITSM platforms: ServiceNow, Atlassian.
Have experience working in a higher education environment.
Environments: Red Hat/CentOS/Fedora (80%), Windows (20%)
