The School of Packaging has 4 research associate positions available. These positions are focused on the development of organic synthesis, coatings and polymeric materials for packaging and non-packaging applications. Candidates are encouraged to apply if they have expertise in one or more areas relevant to organic synthesis, catalysis, coatings and polymeric materials.
Candidates will be expected to develop and execute experiments and report progress to Dr. Rabnawaz. In addition, the candidate will be expected to mentor one or two graduate students in the research group. Candidates will also be expected to guide graduate and undergraduate students in a laboratory environment.
Doctorate -Polymer Chemistry, Organic/Inorganic Syn
Candidates will have completed a PhD in Polymer Chemistry, Organic/Inorganic Synthetic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Materials Chemistry or a closely related field by the position start date.
Strongest candidates will have a good record of productivity in one or more areas relevant to organic synthesis, catalysis, coatings, polymers and materials as well as have expertise in the analytical techniques suchs as NMR, GPC, DSC, DMA, TGA, etc.
