This Workforce Development Specialist will be responsible for:
Supporting Workforce Development activities and programs for the Hospital, including implementing incumbent worker, youth development, and community partnership programming.
Focusing on incumbent worker programming which includes overseeing programming for foundation skills, pre-college, and pathways to college for employees.
Overseeing program operations, responding to employee inquiries, and speaking with groups to share opportunities in addition to overseeing employee scholarship process and application review.
Partnering with training non-profit to oversee class enrollment and attendance.
To qualify, you must have:
A High School or GED diploma is required, two to three years of previous work experience. Prior workforce development or HR experience is strongly preferred.
Demonstrated experience with effective training, communication, and presentation skills.
Strong working analytical skills to resolve problems that require the use of basic scientific, mathematical, or technical principles.
