Yours included. This Blood Donor Recruitment Associate will be responsible for:
Recruiting blood donors via telephone and mail. Coordinating recruitment and donor scheduling with other recruitment staff, administrative staff and collection staff. Maintaining accurate records and documentation.
Developing annual collection goals with recruitment colleagues, operations supervisor and administrative manager. Compiling and maintaining accurate statistical reports for tracking productivity.
Organizing and implementing strategies for working with identified sponsor groups, employees and families to insure maximum participation in both hospital based and bloodmobile donor programs.
Educating potential donors and donor groups about blood donation through presentations and educational materials. Functioning as a resource person for patients, families, staff and donors regarding blood needs and usage.
Participating in the development of special promotions and materials to enhance donor recruitment and retention.
Orienting and training new recruitment and administrative staff as needed.
Participating in the development of the annual promotional budget. Maintaining supplies of promotional materials.
Specific programs as assigned; contributing to blood donor recruitment program through building lasting and meaningful relationships with donors, prospective donors and donor groups.
To qualify, you must have:
At least a high school education with a preference for some college experience, and at least two years of work experience.
The analytical skills and judgment to interpret data and take appropriate action in a variety of difficult circumstances.
The ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and provide empathy in difficult interpersonal situations.
Strong communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under federal regulations are necessary.
