Position: The College of Liberal Arts at Towson University invites applications for two non-tenure track, 10-month Lecturer positions in the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies beginning August 2019.
Qualifications: PhD in philosophy required. ABD candidates may be considered if the doctorate is expected to be completed by June 2019. Applicants must possess a strong commitment to excellence in teaching and scholarly productivity. AOS: Ethics. AOC: Open. We welcome philosophers from any tradition.
Responsibilities:Faculty are assigned an instructional workload of eight (8) course units per academic year. Renewable years for three years, and thereafter in increments of three years after a three-year review.
