The Department of Economics is inviting applications for a one-year visiting assistant professor position beginning in Fall 2019.
Qualifications:Preferred areas of teaching and research are in industrial organization. A PhD. in economics is preferred. ABD applicants considered, but appointment will be at the Visiting Instructor rank. The successful applicants are expected to be excellent teachers and develop a research program appropriate to the field.
Responsibilities:The expected teaching load is 21 credit hours (7 courses) per year. Teaching responsibilities may include Principles of Economics, Intermediate Microeconomics and other Microeconomic Courses.
College of Business and Economics:The College is accredited by AACSB for both its business and accounting programs. It conducts undergraduate business programs with majors/concentrations in an array of business fields and offers a growing number of graduate programs. The College plays a prominent role in providing leadership to local/regional firms, governments, and non-profit organizations.
