The primary function of this position is to conduct analyses of Positron Emission Tomography (PET) images of investigational radiotracer uptake in both clinical studies of humans and preclinical animal studies within the Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging division of the department of Radiology. Responsibilities will include semi-automated segmentation of human and animal brain and other organ regions within PET images, High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) and gamma counter analyses of blood and urine samples, fulfilling a supportive role in the data collection procedures associated with PET imaging studies, performing data entry, resolving data queries, and preparation of results for reports and manuscripts.
