The Center for Weight and Eating Disorders at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine seeks a full-time Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC). The candidate will help coordinate a NIH-funded study that will assess behavioral and biological predictors of weight loss and evaluate whether patients who lose minimal weight with behavioral treatment alone benefit from the addition of weight loss medication.
The CRC will work closely with Dr. Jena Tronieri, Assistant Professor of Psychology in Psychiatry, and will regularly interact with other Center faculty. The CRC will assist with: recruiting and screening participants; conducting patient assessments, including behavioral testing; coordinating subject screenings and study visits; coordinating regulatory paperwork; documenting and reporting adverse events; preparing study materials and ordering study-specific supplies; completing progress and data safety monitoring plan reports; maintaining study charts; and entering study data. The CRC also will have opportunities to help with writing abstracts, papers, and grants.
This position will start in early Summer, 2019. Position is contingent on continued funding.
