Administrative Assistant - School of Engineering, Dean's Office - (19001212)
The Tufts University School of Engineering, founded in 1898, houses six academic departments, the Tufts Gordon Institute, and the Center for Engineering Education and Outreach. The Engineering Dean's Office, in partnership with the school community and university administration, is responsible for setting strategy and policy and providing administrative oversight for the school. The Engineering Dean's Office is the administrative home of Dean Jianmin Qu, the associate deans, and other administrative staff
The Engineering Dean's Office Administrative Assistant is responsible for administrative support for the Dean's Office. S/he supports the Dean of Undergraduate Education, including calendar support and administrative support for cross-school and co-curricular initiatives. S/he assists with tasks related to academic and faculty affairs, including faculty meetings, outside surveys (US News and World Report, ASEE), ABET accreditation, faculty search and faculty affairs-related tasks. S/he also serves as the events coordinator for the Dean's Office. Works with other Dean's Office staff to ensure smooth office operations. Other duties and special projects as assigned.
High school diploma/equivalent with 5 years of directly related experience, Associate's degree and 3 years of directly related experience, OR a Bachelor's degree and 1 year of directly related experience
