DUTIES: The Staff Assistant II will serve as the receptionist/scheduler for the Clinical and Transitional Science Center (CTSC) and will coordinate and schedule research studies use of space within the CTSC in the University Hospital, including interaction with principal investigators and their research staff, and facilitating scheduling of communication with and scheduling subjects for research studies. The receptionist/scheduler may also be asked to provide other administrative support services for the CTSC. (DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE ABOVE POSITION DESCRIPTION) QUALIFICATIONS: REQUIRED: - Bachelor's Degree or AAS with two (2+) plus years of relevant experience. PREFERRED: - Bilingual speaker with fluency in languages relevant to Downstate's local surroundings.
