This position provides leadership and administrative management to IHCC's Career Program academic disciplines (Accounting, Business, Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement, Education, Human Services, Paralegal). This position involves significant discretion and substantial involvement in the development, interpretation and implementation of College policy. Oversee the college's Learning Center including tutoring and other academic and learning support activities.
Master's degree in related field
Five years of experience in academic leadership, project leadership in higher education, and/or college level teaching.
Experience with quality improvement.
Experience with diverse populations.
Experience developing partnerships and building collaborative relations
Experience with accreditation processes.
Experience developing and managing budgets.
Doctorate in related field or in Educational Leadership, Higher Education, Community College Leadership
Experience with campus-wide learning assessment
Experience administering union contracts and other human resource functions
Experience with Learning Communities
Experience with Processes related to Program Accreditation
