This position exists to organize, manage, and analyze a range of academic affairs projects and programs. It provides principal support to the chief academic officer and academic deans for curriculum and course development, including the processes necessary for new program offerings and for program changes approved by the Minnesota State chancellor. The position is also responsible to ensure timely and full compliance with Higher Learning Commission policies on academic programs and teaching and learning.
Extensive knowledge and understanding of academic programming, and the organizational structure of higher education campus policies and procedures.
Excellent computer skills and understanding of computer applications such as Microsoft Office.
Knowledge of relationship databases and experience in conducting complex database queries.
Knowledge and understanding of data privacy laws (e.g., FERPA)
Attention to detail and accuracy is imperative.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a diverse range of individuals.
Excellent organizational skills.
Experience as a self-directed academic professional.
Demonstrated commitment to the values of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Experience with Minnesota State College Faculty contract.
Experience using Minnesota State databases such as ISRS, Program Navigator and FWM.
