Working Title: Associate Registrar – Records and Registration

The Associate Registrar-Records/Registration is responsible for the analysis, leadership, supervision, management, evaluation, and continuous improvement of services in the areas of registration and grading; class scheduling, transcript processing, veteran certification, records retention, document imaging, registration appeals, and satisfactory academic progress policy and procedures. The Associate Registrar-Records/Registration also interprets and applies federal, state and institutional regulations and policies with respect to data privacy.
The following qualifications are required of all applicants seeking consideration for this position. Only applicants whose application materials clearly demonstrate fulfillment of each of these minimum qualifications will be considered for the position:
Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education AND two years of related work experience with college or university records and registration processes and related technologies
A combination of completed college courses and four years of work experience with college or university records and registration processes and related technologies
Minimum of 4 years of administrative and supervisory experience in a records and registration or enrollment management setting or other similar higher education setting
Demonstrated ability to create queries using Microsoft Access and make recommendations based on data from queries
Demonstrated proficiency in the use of student information or other database systems, email programs, Microsoft Office products, document imaging systems and knowledge databases
Demonstrated ability to work successfully with a diverse population of students, faculty, staff, and external parties
Demonstrated ability to exercise human relation skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relations with the various stakeholders with limited direct supervision
Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills (intercultural, oral and written) in small and large group settings
Demonstrated ability to make independent professional judgments with integrity and within established guidelines
Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment and to be able to balance multiple competing demands while collaborating across broad organizational divisions
Developed problem-solving and management skills and experience
Strong organizational skills
Physical Requirements of the Job: This position requires occasionally lifting such articles as file boxes and heavy hand tools or heavier materials with help from others and/or lifting and carrying light objects frequently. Even though the weights being lifted may only be a negligible amount, a job is in this category may require walking or standing to a significant degree or may involve sitting most of the time with a degree of pushing and pulling of arm and/or leg controls.

Salary Range: $22.10 - $32.10 (Based on experience & qualifications)
