The McIntire School of Commerce is consistently ranked as one of the best undergraduate business programs in the country. The School is an upper-division program at the University, meaning that all students complete two years of undergraduate coursework prior to enrolling. This allows students to build on a liberal arts foundation while pursuing a professional business degree. Recognizing each studentâ™s unique academic and career goals, backgrounds, and talents, the McIntire Office of Undergraduate Admission strives to support and guide students toward these goals.
The McIntire Office of Undergraduate Admission is responsible for all facets of undergraduate recruitment and admission. This includes the planning and execution of information sessions and presentations with a range of 15-250 attendees; counseling and advising prospective Commerce students throughout the academic year; recruiting specialized audiences throughout the University; overseeing the internal and external undergraduate admissions processes; and engaging with a broad constituency through multiple communication methods.
