Serve as primary point of contact for phone-in and walk-in clientele; coordinate email/web requests and questions by distributing to appropriate staff; research, resolve, and convey information on common customer requests related to all Extension program areas; serve as part of the county stewardship team; assist program staff with tracking documents, entering research data, and planning programs and events including taking registrations and processing payments; coordinate meeting locations; coordinate and schedule monthly office conferences with staff; maintain all office records in accordance with OSU policy; provide clerical support, including use of all Microsoft Office applications, to produce brochures, newsletters, educational handouts, and event programs; assist in maintaining social media sites and county website; maintain and reconcile fiscal operations including monthly reports, checking account, registration fees and ledgers, weekly deposits, receipts, PCard management, completing e-requests, and ordering supplies for the office as needed; prepare and maintain local checking account utilizing Quick Books; provide reports to fiscal steward in the county and to the area leader as requested; maintain office equipment, yearly contracts, and reports as required by the business office and area leader/financial steward in the county; maintain inventories of publications and office supplies; work with various vendors for needed repairs or replacements; receive and distribute daily mail and deliveries; responsible for office recycling; maintain all general office duties including organization of the office and the opening/closing of the office, or coordinating with others in the office to do so.

Six months of experience (600 hours of training) using computers to generate a variety of materials ranging from basic to complex; six months of experience (600 hours of course work) in office practices and procedures; six months of experience (600 hours of course work) in customer service.
Financial experience; excellent customer service, people skills, and organizational skills; experience with Microsoft Office applications; familiarity with Quick Books; data entry and problem solving skills; ability to work as a member of a team; knowledge of Extension programming.
