The Climate Dynamics Group (Prof. Gabriel Vecchi) at Princeton University seeks an outstanding postdoctoral or more senior researcher to study the mechanisms of climate change and variability, and their impact on regional climate and extremes. While working under the direction of Professor Gabriel Vecchi, the candidate will be required to work independently while also being able to complete specific projects developed based on the candidate's interests and strengths.
Qualifications include a Ph.D. in physical sciences, mathematics, or related field. Candidates with strong backgrounds in climate modeling and the analysis of large datasets are preferred. The position is available for one year, with a possibility for renewal contingent upon satisfactory performance and funding.
