Established in 1969, Ramapo College offers bachelor’s degrees in the arts, business, humanities, social sciences and the sciences, as well as in professional studies, which include business, elementary education, nursing and social work. The College also offers articulated programs, including dental, optometry, chiropractic and health professions, as well as visual arts therapy and law, with colleges and institutions in New Jersey and New York.
Undergraduate students may choose to concentrate their studies in one of five schools with more than 539 course offerings and more than 36 academic programs. The College offers part-time graduate programs leading to degrees in Accounting, Business Administration, Educational Technology, Educational Leadership, Nursing, Social Work and Special Education.
Working with Director and Chief Art Handler/Registrar, aids in art collection, care and exhibition duties
Aids in art collection, care and exhibition duties including: inventory, documentation, requests for collection use, art handling, database work, insurance, student research and collection assignments, labels, condition reports, security, scholar requests, exhibition and collection filing, artwork research including new initiatives, photography requests, installation, possibly acting as second courier. Assess collection conditions in an ongoing way. Secure collection information for artist biographies. Align collection processes with state and federal laws. Develop promotional and information systems for collections to better serve public. Move collection art in a vehicle. Perform various other duties as assigned.
One year experience with art documentation and degree in art, art history, or museum studies.
Museum experience preferred.
Required to possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey.
Must successfully complete a Defensive Driver course offered by the College

Competent in maintaining essential records and files. Ability to maintain confidentiality with donor agreements and financial materials.
