GENERAL JOB SUMMARY: Under limited supervision, the instructor is responsible for teaching ESL courses at various locations in Cedar Rapids and Iowa City. Flexible teaching hours from 9:00am - 3:00pm, Monday - Friday up to 28 hours a week.

Provide contextualized ESL classes for local businesses.
Provide specialized instruction focusing on manufacturing English, transportation English, environmental services English, and English for bus aides and bus drivers.

Have flexibility in selecting and modifying curriculum before the start of a program.

Position involves working in an office setting. Occasional (10-33%) standing, pushing, pulling and grasping. Frequent (34-66%) reaching and viewing a computer and other types of close visual work. Constant (67-100%) sitting, walking, repetitive motion, talking and hearing.
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
Prior experience teaching ESL, K-12 certification in ESL, or TESOL certification preferred.
