The Research Analyst will design, execute, interpret and present results of qualitative analyses, as well as manage the collection and processing of data for epidemiological and biomedical research projects at BUSPH, BUSM and other research organizations through project specific application development.
Application Development: Design data collection instruments. Develop data collection instruments and Electronic Data Capture (EDC) projects using commercially available off-the-shelf software including (but not limited to) REDCap, TELEForm, Qualtrics, StudyTrax.
Qualitative Analysis: Implement appropriate project specific qualitative methodology in collaboration with senior level project personnel. Conduct qualitative analyses in support of abstracts, manuscripts and presentations utilizing qualitative analysis software including NVivo. Produce tables and figures depicting results of analyses, along with written interpretation. Develop protocols for best practices in qualitative analysis. Provide training and consultation in qualitative analysis methods and procedures.
Manuscript Preparation: Develop written sections on data management and qualitative methodology for grant applications, manuscripts, abstracts and presentations
Data Cleaning: Assist in data entry, auditing and verification processes
Master's degree and 3-5 years of experience required.
