Posting Summary: This person will supervise undergraduate and graduate students in assigned clinical settings, which may be at the on-campus facilities or at off-campus sites. Acquaint students with all of the clinical rooms, which house clinical materials, supplies, and equipment. Provide and assist students with proper information that will enable them to understand the process(es) involved in screening, diagnosing, and managing speech-language and hearing disturbances. Acquaint students with the various clinical procedures by which experiences within the clinical setting(s) will be governed and obtained. Assist students in developing report writing skills which would include writing of diagnostic reports, writing of end of semester progress reports, and formulating long range and short term goals. Coordinate the clinical externship process each semester.
