Research Financial Services is currently seeking a Financial Administrator to ensure that the University obtains reimbursement for expenses associated with its research mission. Research Financial Services is an integral part of research endeavors, overseeing the financial reporting and compliance requirements of all externally sponsored projects. Our primary goal is to facilitate the management of funds provided to the university by outside entities, in compliance with relevant guidelines, for the purpose of continuing research.
The Financial Administrator will ensure compliance with the legal agreement between the University and the sponsoring agency and within the guidelines established by the federal government. This successful applicant will research, identify, and correct data integrity issues, ensure timely maintenance of grant master data as it pertains to the award document, as well as complete external financial reporting for individual sponsored projects.
In addition, this position is responsible for providing excellent customer service to all internal/external customers, while responding to requests for assistance timely and accurately with realistic, consistent guidance while following through until resolved.
SAP, BW Web Reporting, BW BEX Reporting, MS Excel, MS Windows, MS Word, Outlook, communication and organization skills, grant knowledge, independence, judgment, teamwork, time management, and financial reporting and analysis.
