Department Name: 7N900:HEALTH SCIENCES - CLINICAL SCIENCE
The University of Kentucky invites nominations and applications for the position of Chair in the newly created Department of Health and Clinical Sciences in the College of Health Sciences. The position would be equivalent to 30-49% of distribution of effort being dedicated to administration, with the additional effort used for faculty responsibilities. The chair is responsible for the overall direction and administrative leadership for educational, research, and engagement activities, as well as for the management of human resources and budgetary and fiscal resources. This position reports directly to the Dean and is an integral part of the college's administration.
Applicants must have an appointment in a full-time College faculty line, or must be a candidate applying to one of the open faculty positions in the College of Health Sciences. In addition, qualified applicants must have an earned doctorate in an appropriate field of study, a record of accomplishments in education, research, and extramural funding, and national and international reputations at a level commensurate with earning tenure at the rank of Associate Professor, or Professor.
