The Trustee Relations Liaison will cultivate relationships with Trustees and serve as the primary liaison between the Board of Trustees, the President and senior administration, staff, faculty, student body, and alumni. Plan, coordinate, execute, document, and facilitate meetings and projects for the Board of Trustees. Ensure effective operation of the Trustee Office, manage routine and non-routine communications, develop work plans, and perform special projects as needed. Manage the systems that assure the security, accuracy, and accessibility of the legal records of the Board.
Job Qualifications Required:
-Bachelor’s degree and experience supporting senior management and/or a Board preferably in a higher education environment. -Strong project and/or event management, research, and organizational skills. -Excellent oral and written communication skills. -Ability to build relationships and interface effectively with Trustees and the diverse institutional community. -Professional attitude, integrity and ability to maintain confidential information. -Ability to balance competing priorities and respond effectively to rapidly changing plans and schedules. -Strong analytical skills and ability to solve problems imaginatively. -Ability to collaborate on projects. -Willingness to learn new systems. -Proficiency with A/V and remote meeting set-up.
Job Qualifications Preferred:
High level of functionality in the use of Microsoft Office programs, presentation software, Apple systems and the Google environment preferred. Previous supervisory skills preferred.
