Research Support - Laboratory/Non-Laboratory, Staff/Administrative

The Center for Health and Biosciences at Rice University's Baker Institute for Public Policy seeks a well-qualified individual to serve as a research assistant. The position will work primarily on biomedical research policy and ethics projects, as well as the Civic Scientist Program. S/he will be responsible for manuscript development, writing, and proofreading; serve a coordinator and rapporteur for research-related events and community outreach; and conduct his or her own major inquiry of research linked with program fellow. This position is ideal for those interested in biology, biomedical policy, science policy and/or health policy.
