Bachelor's degree in education or a content-related field.
Prefer prior ELL experience.
Experience managing large classes with groups of mixed nationalities is preferred.
Experience with the contextualization and use of authentic materials to aid in achieving higher proficiency rating in speaking, listening, reading and writing is desired. Emphasis on daily life skills with additional focus on vocabulary acquisition and developing confidence in speaking is preferred.
Score at the instructor minimum requirements on the TABE 11/12 in every instructional content area (language, reading, and/or math) on a TABE A assessment.This ELL and Reading position requires minimum scores in both Reading and Language.
