1. Manages adherence to Yale Medicine Access Principles by accepting template change requests, comparing to scheduling guidelines and template standards, and designing template that ensures adherence while also meeting provider and clinic operational needs. 2. Leads periodic department-wide template reviews with operations managers and lead schedulers to ensure templates match demand, minimize barriers, and promote patient access 3. Serves as a template standards resource for lead schedulers. 4. Through reporting and analysis, monitors effectiveness of waitlist functionality throughout the CARE Center and makes recommendations for improvement. 5. Leads practice wide reporting efforts within the CARE Center by continuously monitoring provider, departmental, practice, and CARE Center key performance indicators (KPIs) and service levels. 6. Extracts and consolidates data from multiple sources. Analyzes and synthesizes information and designs and creates accurate and timely reports. 7. Analyzes Epic and telephony data to monitor capacity and service levels across practice sites and identifies improvement opportunities. 8. Develops action plan to address areas for improvement related to access for all departments within the CARE Center. 9. Identified risks and trends that enable leadership to make informed decisions. 10. Recommends improvements to practices, policies, and processes based on data analysis and review. 11. Evaluates downstream effects of schedule changes and implements measures to mitigate negative downstream effects. 12. Uses advanced statistical knowledge to provide support in managing and analyzing data. 13. Designs and implements quality control measures to ensure accurate collection and processing of data. Ensures the integrity of databases used in analyses through development of essential data cleaning and checks, and data back-ups. 14. Refines capacity management dashboards as needed by effectively partnering with the JDAT reporting team. 15. Designs reports to meet the operational needs of internal and external users. 16. Provides ad hoc reports as requested. 17. Attends and actively participate in staff meetings and trainings. 18. May perform other duties as assigned.
Preferred Education: Master's preferred. Healthcare experience strongly preferred. Previous experience with EPIC Cadence and reporting modules and telecom systems strongly preferred. Experience with Tableau.
