Business and Auxiliary Services is seeking a qualified Overnight Customer Care Specialist to provide direct customer service and support to Panther Central. Duties associated with this position include but are not limited to:
Serve as first point of contact to public via front counter (assist with questions, form completion, card production, etc.) and telephone.
Assist with administrative functions as required and/or requested.
Responsible for data entry, data queries, and updating data in all applicable University systems.
Explain policies and procedures of housing, food services, and ID card to students, parents, faculty, staff and other visitors.
Responsible for monitoring and reporting problems regarding lobby area to appropriate staff. *Please note that this is an overnight position, Wednesday through Sunday, 11:00pm to 7:00am.* Our Housing, Dining and Business Services team provides exceptional customer service through Panther Central, our 24/7 help desk that assists students with their on-campus living needs and serves as the University's ID Center, printing more than 33,000 cards per year for faculty, staff, students, and visitors. Our team is responsible for the leasing and assignment of all on-campus residence halls and University-owned off-campus apartments. We oversee all campus dining options including restaurants, coffee carts, campus catering and a food truck. Additionally, our team caters to the entire Department by creating communication materials and the maintenance of computer hardware and software programming, ranging from point of sales systems to residence hall security. The Housing, Dining and Business Services Team is a unit of Business and Auxiliary Services which also consists of Parking, Transportation and Services; Operations; The University Stores and Conference Services. Our Department strives for the highest standard of quality and service.
Minimum Education Level Required: High School Diploma or GED
Minimum Experience Level Required: 2-3 years experience
Work Schedule: Wednesday through Sunday, 11:00pm to 7:00am.
Hiring Range: $18,564.00 - $28,860.00
